Welcome to the Creating Your Financial Freedom Resource page, a list of the tools and websites I strongly recommend for building and optimizing your blog and finances.
I have personally used every recommendation on this page.
Before you go any further, an important disclosure:
Some of the links below are affiliate links, and some aren’t. This means that if you choose to make a purchase, and the link happens to be one of the affiliate links, then I will earn a commission. This does not raise your cost. Please know that I have personal experience with all of these companies, and I recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I make if you decide to buy something. That’s why I have included both affiliate and non affiliate links, because I believe you should see all of the things I love to use. Remember, only spend money on the products that you feel you need or that they will help you achieve your blog and financial goals. And if you have any questions about the products, just send me a message through the “Contact” tab above!
BLOGGING & WEBSITE RESOURCES
Bluehost has website and blog hosting, and is a must if you want reliable hosting for an amazing price. This is my second blog, and I have used Bluehost for both of them. It was one of the most affordable, reliable web hostings I found. You can get it for as low as $3.95/month and a free domain name!
One of the best things you can do as a blogger is start building a subscriber list right away. Convertkit is the #1 site for this. They are very user friendly, allow for automation, and integrate well with leadpages. In addition to all of that, they look professional. Perfect for building your blogging business.
Copyright & Trademark Law Ebook
Blogging is a great business to make you money and pursue your passion. The last thing you want to do is not protect yourself legally. While not everyone thinks about the legal aspect of blogging, it’s there! Don’t worry though, Breighanne Eggert from Average But Inspired takes the guesswork out for you. Her ebook covers everything you need to know, at an amazingly low price!
Fiverr is an open marketplace for entreprenuers looking for odds jobs to be completed for them. Be it logo design, marketing, or any of thing related to your business, there is likely something on Fiverr to help you. The prices start at $5 and go up from there depending on the experience of the person completing the task. Be sure to do your research before hiring someone, as you want to be sure you get quality work. All in all though, it is a good place to get odd jobs completed for your blog or business.
Personal Money Course
If you want to learn how to manage your money and build your wealth, but aren’t sure where to start, then this course might be just what you need. It walks you through everything you need to know in a 5 individual modules, and you can go at your own pace. You also have lifetime access, so any time something is updated, be it a video or handout, you get the update. If you are struggling with debt, tend to be an overspender, are living paycheck to paycheck, or ever just want to have more control of your money, then consider investing in yourself and learning all that you need to know!
Mint is a budgeting and money tracking software. You can use it on your desktop, or download it as an app on your phone. I personally use the app. I love Mint because you can safely link all of your bank accounts, regardless of the bank you use. You can also link your loans and credit cards. Then you set up a budget, track your spending, and tweak where needed! The best part? It’s completely free to use (minus the ads they run to make it free to you).
